A Mass of Buds
I wanted to share these photos from my walk around the house yesterday. This is the huge flowering Quince bush that is in the front yard! We broke a record for having no rain in January.....the nights are chilly..but the days are in the 60's...I've been taking advantage of the mild temperatures... walking around enjoying all the buds on the trees and bushes... the animals are walking right along with me...
I also have my nose stuck in a good book...and working on some backgrounds for a canvas RR swap.

I have a small one of these in my yard, it blooms, but I never get fruit... do you..? have you made jelly from them..?
I think we have traded temps, girl. You've got the warm weather we had a couple of weeks ago, and we got your cold blast! We had camellias blooming on the shrubs at work before the snow! With the buds appearing, spring can't be too far away!
It is so nice to see colour!
Winter is getting a bit too gray for me.

it really has been some crazy weather here in the valley! Cold, warm, freezing and hot if you are in the sun!
