Cookie Saturday

Peanut Butter Kisses
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup crisco (shortening)
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 teas. vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
2 teas. baking soda
1 teas. salt
1 (11oz.) package milk chocolate chips.
preheat oven to 375
Cream together sugar, brown sugar, 1 cup shortening and peanut butter. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; add to peanut butter mixture. Beat well. Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in additional sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 min. Remove from oven. Press 1 milk chocolate candy into center of each warm cookie. Return to oven; bake 3 min. longer. Makes 6 to 7 dozen cookies.

Wow, I'm amazed, I beat Sombra into a cookie recipe site. Tee hee. These are great looking cookies Vicci. Have you tried any recipes out of one of the cook books I gave you a week ago Saturday. i.e. Cosmic Cafe
