Saturday Drive
Decided to go for a nice birthday drive...I wanted to get a box of cucumbers to make pickles. Hooverville Orchards was the destination....on the way to Coloma. The pond above is located on the way into the orchard....and the peacocks protect the place......

The house we lived in the longest as a kid had a peacock farm around the corner from it. They can be very protective!
Oh Wow! I always wanted a peacock. There was a house out in the country that had a lot of them in a big part of the yard pinned in. I would ride my bike out there just to see them. They were so loud!
They are so pretty!
How did your pickles turn out? I have only bought them at the store.
Vicci, what are the chances of going to Hooverville Orchards after checking out the vendors?????
