Picnic On the Bed...and Good Old Movie
My birthday started early Friday night...we decided to have a picnic on the bed...and watch an old classic movie...(The Ghost and Mrs. Muir).....I covered the bed with an old tablecloth...and put down plates of goodies...cheese...peppers and olives...french bread...crackers ...chips and dip...with some cantaloupe....Stella Doro cookies and orange juice for dessert...We use to do this years ago..I forgot how much fun it is.....

Oh, I love it, loves delicious & sounds so comfy! I am so glad to see that you have had such a beautiful birthday week-end.
Years ago, I made Thanksgiving dinner for me and one friend who like myself, was otherwise alone for the holiday. I made a huge spread of crackers, dips, cheeses and meats. At first, my friend was appalled at the lack of traditional foresight...until I pointed out that we should be thankful that we can do these things.
This was wonderful! And what a great idea! Everything looks delicious!
This is so cool! I love this...the food, (I haven't had a stella doro in ages, yum! THE best cookies) the movie(love that movie..is it the one with Gene Tierney?) the tablecloth..so cozy and fun! You know how to live well! :)
