I decided to try the textured background technique for collage that's in the latest Cloth Paper Scissors magazine. The article is by Misty Mawn. I did a few things differently. Instead of using scraps of paper to paint the background...I used tissue paper and napkins, and cheesecloth. I painted the face myself instead of using an image from a magazine. This was fun! Especially doing the transfers. I like the way it came out.
July 1st already!!! It's my anniversary...I've been blogging a whole year! I should throw a party..maybe I'll bake some cupcakes for everyone later on...
I've been enjoying the peace and quiet around here..especially the total privacy.....YIPPEE!!!! Last night we played the stereo "LOUD"...and had a late-night supper....and I DIDN'T HAVE to get up early this morning! (even though I did). Happy July to everyone!
