Hunting for Treasure
Here is my art deck challenge card...2 of Clubs...theme is Maps. I'm trying like crazy to get some art done before the dreaded HEAT arrives...it seems to be a touch cooler...but still going to be 100 degrees...back to the studio.....

The old car and the map are perfect together. We're still in the 100ยบ temps too. And my craft room gets the afternoon sun!

I hope you won't have too hot a day. We're having our annual july heat wave here, and air condition is still an unknown concept here in Norway, so it's getting quite uncomfortable.
I hope you have enough energy to pick your blackberries though! Have you tried them with vanilla sauce? 1 egg, 4 dl of 1 % milk, a little cornstarch, a couple spoons of sugar and some vanilla extract. Cook it until it thickens and then let it cool. Yummy!!!

I Love it Vicci! I want to start doing the Art Deck cards,,I looked at Target and the Dollar Tree for some big cards,,but can't find any. I may have to use some mat board,,but I don't know who it would work with the Suits in the deck. Ugh,,I see on your blog weather girl that its 99 there,,I hope your chillin in the pool.

The card below with the dancers on, and the piece below that with the seashells on it are beautiful. Ah seashells make me feel cooler! Although our heat isn't as hot as yours, we are all starting to flake out with the unusually hot temperatures, it seems to cool for a day and then returns fiercer. Hope your Dad keeps drinking enough. Love xx

I notice on the Magpie page (reformated quite nicely) that Marilyn, Marci, Deb and you Vic have done the most. Are you going to each get a deck at the end like with the accordion book? It is amazing how you all find each other in this huge world. Love ya cuz.
