All of these pics are great but this mine looks really spooky.
Hi there found your blog by chance, (looking for stuff about Pearson's) Thanks for posting these pics, I grew up in Placerville, and a major part of my teen age years were spent in and around the Sodaworks building, and I can attest to the mine being if not "haunted" then at least "inhabited".....I've experienced a number of incidents there, the only thing I never saw was an actual manifestation of anything....
I'm fairly impressed and pleased to see that it looks much the same as it did over a decade ago when I was last there.
