I had always wondered about the meaning of cabinet card too...then I read that it's the old portraits that were mounted on stiff board, sometimes with the photographers name on them. So my question for you is, are you using the originals or are you taking a portrait of any kind and creating your own altered cabinet card? This one is absolutely beautiful. I've been wanting to do one myself but don't really have but a couple of the actual ones on the stiff board. please advise, you are great at it!!
XOXO
p.s. I have the bottle and the gathering has begun. :)

Violets were Gram Klare's favorites indoors. Of course Daffodils were her outside fav's, and now are mine. Did I ever share the poem I wrote when she passed?

PERFECT DAFFODILS

Just when you think
You are almost dead
There are new leaves
On old trees
And perfect daffodils.

This card is so detailed. How big is it? What do you do with it? What do you hang it on?
