I too love old cemeterys. Except for the time I fell in a sink hole in one! lol

LOL...that was a funny...and not so funny...experience for Button that time she fell into that hole. So glad it was only one foot in and not both...oh my. Thanks for sharing these great photos of the graves of these 2 people. Makes one want to go back out to the cemetery to just "look around".

Those old cemetery photos are amazing. I have never ever heard of decorating graves with belongings from your life, how fascinating, but a new one on me.

This was just a fascinating post and photo spread. Cemeterys are very interesting. I have a few "favorites" here on the plains. There is so much history and stories...I had never seen graves decorated with belongings like that...that is very touching. I love your blog. ( ps..one grave I found interesting here seemed to always have a jar of fresh canned dill pickles by the tomestone. It was for a man...)It was an old desolate country cemetery.
