Gram's House...Back Then....
This is a picture of my Gram and Grandpa's house....my Dad helped build this when he was just a teenager. This picture was taken in 1935-36.....the gate leading to this very same house is posted below...75 years later. It is totally different!

Oh my goodness. Look how small the giant oak is out back by the chicken sheds and the tire swing. Was the tire swing still there when you came out to CA? I almost cried at the site of that house. So filled with love and I was always so happy to be there in the summers. I should write a blog about that place and my memories of it. It would be fun.
Looking forward to hearing more about your memory day. The water in the photograph is just so clear.
What a nice house that was!! I know you have some wonderful memories of that wonderful place!
